Being from Chicago, it was hard finding good pizza. We moved here 7 months ago. This place! OMG! The best I’ve had in San Antonio! The best thin crust and regular crust (just as good as Chicago style) I ordered several different pizzas and I couldn’t pick a favorite. All so freaking good. From regular crust to thin, you can’t go wrong. We did a pick up order at the stone oak location and the staff was incredibly kind as well! We will DEFINITELY be ordering again, but next time we plan to visit for indoor dining. Such a cool vibe! Absolutely delicious! Also got an order of 10 boneless bbq wings they were good, could’ve used a little more sauce but they all got eaten up lol. So delish! We are all full and satisfied!

I noticed Mellow Mushroom while exploring the area and decided to stop for dinner. The restaurant had a fun and relaxed atmosphere that immediately made me feel comfortable. The staff welcomed everyone with a smile and explained a few menu options without rushing us. We ordered a couple of pizzas and some sides, and everything arrived fresh and nicely prepared. The crust was soft with a good texture, and the toppings tasted fresh. The dining area was clean, and the tables were well spaced, so it never felt crowded. I also saw staff cleaning tables regularly, which was nice to see. Parking was available close to the entrance, making the visit easy. Overall, it was a comfortable place to enjoy a meal, have a conversation, and spend quality time without feeling hurried. I would happily visit again.

Since I moved to Texas, I’ve been on the hunt for delicious wings—and I finally found them at Mellow Mushroom! The wings were cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and one of the best I’ve had since moving here. One thing I really appreciated was being able to order all flats, which is a huge plus for me and not something every restaurant offers. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, the drinks were cold, and the service was friendly from start to finish. The unique decor, especially the metal mushroom statue outside, gave the restaurant a lot of character. If you’re looking for great wings, pizza, and a fun place to eat, I highly recommend Mellow Mushroom.

One of the best pizza experiences I've had. The food was amazing, great value for the price, and the service was on point. Ordered a large pizza (half "The Great White" and half "Pacific Rim" without the jalepeños) and a Steak Calzone. Both pizza toppings were really good but the "Pacific Rim" really impressed us. Paired this with Ranch and Creamy Pesto dip and it was perfect. For 2 people, the large pizza would easily be enough. We had plenty of leftovers with the additional Calzone order. Ended with a peanut butter cookie that was probably the best I've tried. Honestly, the photos included on this review don't do it any justice. It looks so much better in person and you can see how much food it really is.

Decided to try this spot during my visit to San Antonio for my birthday weekend. So glad we went! Our server Ann Marie was amazing from the first moment she welcomed us and through our entire visit despite being very busy with other tables. Being that it was our first time visiting this establishment, she explained the menu options in detail and took the time to recommend drinks which we loved! The pizza was delicious (even when I reheated it 2 days later), the environment was great, and the playlist was great! Our experience was so awesome that Mellow Mushroom will be a must visit from now on everytime we are in San Antonio! Thank you Ann Marie!
